Golden Set - Rockdale Road, Navan, Ontario, 8:31pm
A little while ago I wrote a blog post stating that my picture-a-day thing would last until picture #1000. Turns out I lied.
Two Fridays ago I missed a day for the first time. The next day I didn't feel like posting a picture. The day after that I took an executive decision: Picture Per Diem was dead.
Although I didn't get to 1000, I did get to 365 (twice...and then some), which was my initial goal. 869 was the last.
What I'm doing now is focusing more on sharing photo sets, rather than single shots. I still want to share the photographs I make, but I'd rather show work than I can frame in its continuity with the shouldering photographs made in the abutting moments.
I'll start off with this series, titled Golden Set. Heading back home from a late evening meeting in Bourget, I drove through Navan. Rockdale Road lead me there and revealed to me this golden landscape lit by a golden sunset. All of these pictures are 3 exposure HDR images, made with a combination of Photomaix, Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom.
You can see more from this set here, or by heading in Portfolio, Personal up at the top of this screen.
